Yggdrasil’s Seasons slot – my must-play for this spring

I love spring! All those flowers, birds and so on. Sometimes, however, I have no time for roaming in the countryside (no matter how much I want to do it) so I have to find a substitute of nature in the world of gaming 😉

This year the case is easy: there is Yggdrasil’s Seasons online slot! Launched this week, this 20-payline, 5-reels game is a fresh release from one of my favourite game studios and I must admit it looks great and pays well. Even though this week casino players had a chance to try a nice selection of newly launched games, I believe this one is the best. Why? Let me explain!

First of all: the look. Seasons slot looks just amazing. All symbols are well-detailed and perfectly mathc the theme. There are acorns, leaves, strawberries, berries, mushrooms and pines. The music is very relaxing and the whole mood of the game is very pleasurable. I fell in love with it!

The next thing: game scheme. In fact, Season slot is very unique not only due to its graphics, but mainly to the fact that it is divided into four different games, each devoted to different season of the year. Thus, there are 4 game modes: winter, spring, summer and autumn. After 10 spins have been played in a season, the season may change into a new randomly chosen season once the bet is made. I’ve been playing the game for a while and managed to launch all modes-they are awesome.

Each mode has a different Wild feature. In winter, Here is wild and can duplicate itself to another position. In spring mode, Wild Owl gives a free re-spin. During the re-spin, the Owl moves one spot in a random straight or diagonal direction to award more wins. During the summer, Dear Wild will expand in a CROSS pattern when it is caught on the reels. Autumn’s Wild Fox awards a random multiplier that applies to all wins in the spin.

But it’s not the end of good news! There are also free spins awarded once you manage to catch at least 3 Free Spins leaves symbol. You may win up to 30 free spins (as a reward for 5 free spins symbols).

First, I tried the game in the free mode but later on, I decided to give it a go in a real-money game. The results were great, so I am sure to come back to this enchanting title soon. I can recommend it to all of you, casino lovers!

Join Sherlock Holmes in an exciting Holmes and the Stolen Stones slot from Yggdrasil!

Holmes and the Stolen Stones is a brand new slot from Yggdrasil. As it was mentioned many times before, I am a great fan of all Yggdrasil’s slots. What about their new game? Well, I was a bit disappointed with a theme – I got used to games with more innovative and strange topics but the slot features so many extra extra options that it is impossible not to like it.

What is so special about Holmes and the Stolen Stones from Yggdrasil? First of all, the unique shard feature. How does it work? You need to collect five shards of the same colour on the given reel. When you do so, you will fill in the shard meter and form a diamond that starts out the diamond collection and takes you one step closer to winning a jackpot. All wins during this feature are multiplied by 3. Collecting shards is really easy and happens quite often giving you lots of fun during the gameplay.

But it’s not the end of fantastic options available in the game. There is also a special Free Spin symbol. If you manage to stop the reels with at least three of these icons, you will be awarded with 10 Free Spins. Once you catch 4 or five of Free Spin symbols, you will get 10 Free Spins together with 1000 coins and 10 Free Spins with 10.000 coins respectively. Sounds nice, don’t you think so? While playing the game, I wasn’t lucky enough to catch 5 free spin symbols, but I’ve managed to win 4 and three of them and got my award. It was great!

There is also a Bonus game activated by 3 or more Bonus symbol scaught on the reels of the game. When you catch 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols you will be awarded with: 3 Bonus Games, 4 Bonus Games + 1000 coins, 5 Bonus Games + 10.000 coins. I was lucky to win 4 Bonus Games during which I had a chance to find a bag coins or the missing shards of the diamonds. All shards found during the Bonus Game are transferred to player’s collection in the main game. The bonus game ends if you find a smoke bomb symbol on the reels.

And the best thing in this game that is sure to give you a thrill: progressive jackpot! When you collect 5 Diamonds of the same colour, you win a jackpot! Unfortunately, I am not a millionaire and I didn’t win the jackpot, but I hope to do it one day 🙂

In general, I really liked Holmes and the Stolen Stone slot even though it does not offer impressive graphics or stunning animations. It is a bit different from other Yggdrasil’s slots but I trust that many company’s fans will enjoy a slight change in Yggdrasil’s style. I did 🙂

Chibeasties – the next reason to love Yggdrasil Gaming!

I know, I have mentioned it many times before, but I can’t stop myself – I love Yggdrasil Gaming’s slots 🙂 They look excellent, offer stunning graphics, great animations and are always connected with an interesting topic. This time my favourite software provider took me on an unforgettable adventure to the mysterious dark forest inhabited by strange bug-eyed creatures. Did I have fun? Of course!

First thing you can see after launching the game is the background of the reels. The game screen of Chibeasties is placed inside the beautiful but somehow creepy forset. This bring game a unique atmosphere of teh mystery and provides players with a great excitement.

When it comes to the symbols, the reels of Chibeasties are filled with teh images of colourful plants (some of them look really strange, so don’t get shocked!) and mentioned before strange animals with eyes similar to those of some of the bugs. All graphics are very detailed and created using the most recent technologies.

What about the paylines and special features? So, Chibeasties offer 5 reels, 20 paylines and some rewarding special symbols. While spinning the reels of the game, players can take advantage of Wild symbols and Free Spins. Wild symbol can substitute for all other symbols except the free spins. When caught next to the incomplete winning combination, it takes the role of the missing symbol and awards the win.

Three, four or five scattered Free Spin symbols caught anywhere on the reels award 10, 20 or 40 Free Spins respectively. If you enter the Free Spin round, one symbol is chosen randomly to become the expanding symbol. When this symbol appears on the reels, it expands to cover the whole reel. Interestingly, even the Wild symbol can be chosen as the expanding icon. The expansion may take place after the first win evaluation. I must admit I had a lot of fun with this feature and enjoyed the way expanding symbols covered the entire reels.

There is nothing left to say about Chibeasties. I believe this extraordinary game deserves the utmost attention of slot lovers and is a real must-play, especially if you live in the parts of the world dealing with the autumn and mushroom season 🙂

Bizarre “Cazino Zeppelin”!

Coming back to my roots 😉 Yeah, I know, I’ve been torturing you with some classic slots descriptions, but today I’m going to tell you about something as fresh as a daisy!

So, my new discovery is a totally crazy “Cazino Zeppelin” slot by Yggdrasil. Have you ever played “Dead or Alive”? If yes, you will like home with this brand new slot as it has very similar graphics and style.

Like most of Yggdrasil’s slots, “Cazino Zeppelin” has a certain plot. It “tells” the story of zeppelin’s crew which members decided to play some casino games in order to entertain themselves on the boring flight. Sonunds interesting? And so it is! Add some nice graphics presenting strange characters (all a bit strange-looking and holding some cards or dice) and you have a perfect recipe for a great gameplay.

I’ve checked this slot several times when it was still available only in the free mode at Vera and John casino and I triggered almost all special features. But what’s the best, I managed to do so in the real game as well. Such things have never happened to me before!

I was extremely excited with the quality of additional options. While playing the game you can benefit from such special features as Free Spins or Sticky Wilds.

Let’s start with Free Spins. If you are lucky to catch 3, 4 or 5 Free Spin symbols, you will trigger 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins. What’s more, even two Free Spin symbols anywhere on the reels add some extra points to your win, which happens really often and is soooo nice:)

The symbol of a sexy girl is Wild. During the Free Spin feature pretty chick may get sticky till the end of the free game. But it’s not the end of great news! All Wilds appearing in base game when activating Free Spin mode remain on their positions till the end of the feature. This option helps you collect many wins and build many winning combinations. Of course, Wilds can substitute for all other symbols except Scattered Free Spins.

“Pyrons” – Explosion of Winnings? Rather not…

I have to tell you about my last discovery! I’ve found a new slot from Yggdrasil – “Pyrons”. Have you ever tried Yggdrasil’s slots? If not, you have to do it, because Yggdrasil is one of the most innovative software providers available on the market.

But let’s concentrate on “Pyrons”.

I have to admit that I was really excited about this release. And at the first glance it seemed that the game deserved my anticipation as it looks totally crazy! On its reels you can see the glass balls filled with the standard fruit symbols drowned in the colourful explosive substances. You do not spin the reels like in the most slots. So how do you get the points? If you catch at least three matching symbols in the winning line, they are going to explode, disappear and leave an empty space for the next glass balls which are dropped down from the top of the game screen.  It is quite nice to look at and I felt really happy each time I managed to get those explosive winnings.

Unfortunately, despite the fantastic look, the game has one weak point: it has almost no special features.

The only thing it has to offer is the multiplier meter visible on the left side of the game screen. After each win your multiplier increases and it may boost your winnings up to 20 times. But the best thing about the multipliers is that they are able to actvate a special animation in which the blue flames spread over the whole game screen.

So, what is my general opinion about “Pyrons”? I think it won’t become one of my favourite slots. I prefer more exciting games which are able to entertain me with some Bonus Games or at least offer Scatters or Wilds.

I think I’ll stay with a bit older slot from Yggrasil – “Magic Mushrooms”. Maybe I’ll write about it in my next post 🙂
